How Cacha Works

Your Gift Cards. One Smart Wallet.

Cacha is designed to make managing your gift cards simple.

Instead of keeping gift cards in your wallet, emails, screenshots or drawers, Cacha gives you one place to store, organise and access them when you need them.

Add it. Store it. Find it. Use it.

Here’s how Cacha works.

1. Add Your Gift Card

Start by adding a gift card to your Cacha wallet.

Enter your gift card details manually or use the supported scanning feature to capture your card's barcode information.

You can keep important information together, including:

  • Gift card or brand name

  • Card number

  • Barcode information

  • Expiry date

  • Optional card name

  • Optional card image

Once you've added your card, it becomes part of your personal Cacha wallet.

2. Keep Your Cards Together

No more trying to remember where you put a gift card.

Your saved gift cards are organised inside your Cacha wallet, giving you one place to access the cards you've added.

Whether the original card came from a physical gift card, an email or another source, Cacha helps you keep the information you need together.

One wallet. All your gift cards.

3. Access Your Gift Card

When you're ready to use a gift card, simply open Cacha and select the card from your wallet.

Your stored card information is available when you need it, helping you avoid searching through emails, photos or your physical wallet at checkout.

Cacha is designed to make getting to the right gift card quick and simple.

4. Show Your Barcode

For supported gift cards, Cacha can display the stored barcode on your phone so it can be presented at checkout.

Open the gift card, display the barcode and present it to the retailer for scanning.

Acceptance and redemption requirements are determined by the gift card issuer or retailer, so some retailers may have different requirements for using digital or physical gift cards.

5. Stay on Top of Expiry Dates

A forgotten gift card isn't much use.

Cacha is being designed to help you keep track of gift card expiry dates and provide reminders as supported cards get closer to expiry.

That means less relying on memory and a better chance of using your gift cards while they're still valid.

You should always check the official expiry conditions with the gift card issuer, as Cacha's reminders are designed to assist rather than replace the issuer's information.

6. Manage Your Cards

Things change, so Cacha gives you the ability to manage the gift cards you've added.

You can update supported card information when needed and remove cards you no longer want stored in your wallet.

This keeps your Cacha wallet organised and relevant to you.

Simple. Organised. Ready When You Need It.

Cacha isn't trying to make gift cards complicated.

We're building it around a simple idea:

Store your gift cards in one place, keep track of them and have them ready when it's time to use them.

That's Cacha.

Built with Security in Mind

Gift cards can represent real value, which is why security and privacy are important parts of how we're building Cacha.

We're using established technology and cloud services to help protect user accounts and the information users choose to store.
